The weather showed itself from the better side in the following days, when we drove again a little up and down...

On the map, the route from Ringebu to Lillehammer actually looked harmless. Just 60km along the lake... think... To avoid the traffic of the E6, we chose the road on the western side of the lake. This ran but sometimes at the height of the lake, then again higher up on the slope, with these constant changes, we rose in the course of the day just under 700 meters. For this, however, the road was nice and quiet and even the gravel sections were well drivable.

One day later we changed some valleys to the west. After a long climb we could enjoy a long stretch through forests, which ended with a long descent to Dokka. In Dokka, fortunately, we decided to rent a cabin. About 30 minutes after our arrival, a strong thunderstorm with a lot of rain came up and turned the campground into a lake landscape.... The hut was so sparsely lit that we had to use the headlamp for cooking for the first and only time in Norway.

The following day our route led again along a lake, but this time also again through a beautiful landscape with some altitude :-) In the evening we reached a nice campground at the lake in Sløvika (which was even warm enough for swimming).

This day was the last big stage of the day, because we decided to take the train to Oslo the next day. We decided to do this, because we slowly realized that an intermediate rest day would probably not have been bad... So we took the regional train from Lunner to Grefsen (the main station was still closed). Even without registration, the transport of the tandem worked well in this relatively full train, except for the rather tight space at the boarding.

In Oslo we mounted the navi, with a recharged battery, on the handlebars and were able to easily find the right bike routes to the campsite.
